Fauzia Imran joined the Conveyancing Department at Appleby Shaw in March 2014 and has worked mainly in the Property and Immigration Departments. She specialises in Immigration Law. Prior to joining this firm, Fauzia was the Head of the English Department at a pioneering tuition centre in North London where she managed around 250 members of staff. Ultimately her passion lies in the Law and she was keen to resume her legal career.
Fauzia has earned the respect and praise of her clients through her strengths which lie in her meticulous attention to detail, her diligence, dealing with complex issues and striving to achieve the best results for her clients. She is reliable, efficient and willing to go the extra mile for clients. Fauzia copes well in stressful situations with her composed, calm, patient and reassuring manner.
In the past Fauzia has worked in the Litigation Departments of various leading City law firms such as Clifford Chance, Herbert Smith, Freshfields as well as Nicholson Graham & Jones. Fauzia took a career break from the Law to concentrate on raising her two daughters.
Fauzia is part of a close-knit family and prioritises spending her spare time with them. She also enjoys watching movies, cooking, reading, playing netball/football/snooker and visiting the theatre.
